I’m really excited to introduce you all to my teammates!  This Calendar was the brainchild of Anna Goodale and Ali Cox.  They enlisted the fabulous photographer, Shivani who once sat in the 9th seat of a boat.  Take a look at her photographs on her website because she is truly amazing.

Power and Grace, Portraits of American Rowers is the name of the 2011 calendar and each month shows my teammates personalities as well as their muscles!  I’m bummed I missed out on the photo shoot day because I was still in Seattle finishing up my masters degree but each woman on the team has at least their headshot in their somewhere.  Weather its in the back or on one of the days of the month my head should be in there somewhere.  Anna grabbed a couple of us while we were in New Zealand to take a couple of shots for the calendar.  My photo session came during one of our afternoons off stuck at the hotel.  It was kind of fun but weird having Anna take my picture for real.  It’s nothing glamorous, just a plain old headshot.

This is a fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going towards all of our training costs.  It only costs $10 and it would be perfect for:
